This stunning, near mint condition antique Victorian christening cape/skirt is sturdy even after 100+ years. Used underneath a christening gown as an extra protective layer or as a cape, it's surprisingly intact and quite a rare survivor being in such good condition. Ready to be displayed and treasured for another 100 years!
Provenance: From the collection of a Civil War historian, all his antiques were mid 19th century and cared for in accordance with museum standards.
Condition: Near mint antique. Some tiny age related marks and tears.
