AQUABOT HAS CHANGED THERE PUMP MOTORS COMPLETELY. THEY NO LONGER MAKE THE PUMP MOTORS FOUND IN THE OLDER MACHINES. TO INSTALL THE NEW STYLE PUMP MOTORS THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME CUSTOM FABRICATION WHICH INCLUDES DRILLING HOLES INTO THE BODY OF THE MACHINE. BELOW ARE THE STEPS WHICH NEED TO BE TAKEN NOW TO GET THE NEW PUMP MOTORS INTO YOUR OLDER MACHINE.
1. AS YOU NOTICE IN FIGURE 1 PICTURE YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO MOUNT THE BLACK BRACKET NOW INTO YOUR MACHINE. THE BLACK BRACKET HOLDS THE NEW CAPACIATOR THAT IS HOOKED UP TO THE NEW STYLE PUMP MOTORS. AS YOU CAN SEE THE PUMP MOTOR HAS TWO LEADS COMING FROM IT. ONE LEAD SCREWS INTO THE NEW BLUE CAPACIATOR THE OTHER LEAD HOOKS UP TO YOUR DRIVE MOTOR.
2. AS YOU NOTICE IN FIGURE 2 PICTURE THE END THAT HOOKS UP TO THE DRIVE MOTOR NOW HAS TO BE CHOPPED OFF AND STRIPPED BACK TO EXPOSE THE TWO RAW WIRES INSIDE THE CABLE. THEN IF YOU HAVE THE OLD STYLE WHITE MOTOR AS SHOWN YOU HAVE TO CRIMP THE LOOP CONNECTORS ONTO THE END OF TWO RAW WIRES. (LOOP CONNECTORS NOT INCLUDED). OR IF YOU HAVE A FAIRLY NEWER MOTOR YOU GOING TO HAVE CUT THE PLUG OFF AND BUTT CONNECT THE CONNECTIONS AND THEN SHRINK TUBE THEM. ( BUTT CONNECTORS AND SHRINK TUBE NOT INCLUDED)
3. AS SHOW IN FIGURE 3 THIS IS THE HARDEST PART. THE NEW PUMP MOTOR WILL NOT SCREW INTO YOUR EXISTING OUTLET TOP. YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PUT THE NEW OUTLET TOP BASE ON TOP OF YOUR OLD ONE AND LINE UP THE NEW SCREW HOLES WITH THE BODY.  THEN DRILL HOLES INTO YOUR BODY SO YOU CAN SLIDE SCREWS FROM THE BOTTOM THAT WILL LOCK INTO THE NEW OUTLET TOP RING.
AQUABOT HAS MADE THIS VERY DIFFCULT NOW FOR THE HOME OWNER TO INSTALL NEW PUMP MOTORS INTO THERE MACHINES. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT YOU CAN NOT DO THIS PLEASE SEND IT INTO US AND DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO IT. WE WILL NOT TAKE THIS MOTOR BACK IF YOU CAN NOT INSTALL IT. WE ALL TAKE BACK DEFECTIVE MOTORS THAT ARE NOT WORKING AFTER WE TESTED THEM.
