- Ruby Fuchsite: Fuchsite is a green variety of muscovite mica. It gets it green colorization from chromium. Sometimes corundum crystals are found in fuchsite, when those crystals are red, it is then called Ruby in Fuchsite. Kyanite can also be present causing a blue tint to some areas.
*This cabochon appears to have Kyanite in it as well, but not 100% positive, just has some bluish tints like kyanite with ruby fuchsite usually has, but does not have the usual circles of kyanite around the ruby areas.
